Batak Tribes Hiking

A visit to the Batak tribe visitor center. Where you can see the community of Indigenous Peoples, each of which has its own distinct culture, language, history, and unique way of life.

The batak tribe is one of the endangered of the ethnic tribes in the philippines that are now few. To help preserve the culture and living traditions of the Batak indigenous cultural communities and to create opportunities for livelihood from tourism activity, the Batak Visitor Center and Cultural Village was established and the Kultura Batak Tourism Producers Cooperative organized. The cooperative has an Arts and Crafts project that produces and sells ethnic crafts at the center’s souvenir shop, and traditional music and dances are showcased in cultural presentations to enhance the cultural experience and interaction with visitors.
There is a visitor center you will visit and you will see thier exhibit and a trek to the village in the mountains to see thier way of life. A community based sustainable tourism.
Tour includes van transportation with driver and tourguide private for your group and lunch is also included.

Pick up from hotel is free if hotel is located within the city center. If hotel is out of town an extra pick up charge applies. Please inform if you are coming from the cruise ship. You may inform us the time of the ships arrival and departure time to be back at the ship.
